Benedick Emerges Victorious in LARPing Battle, Showcasing Skill and Strategy

Updated: Feb 3

On the fateful day of February 9th, two armies clashed in the orchard of the University of Messina in a large-scale role playing of a late 16th century Italian battle.  The armies were led by yours truly, (Pedro Donaldson) and the Vice President of the Cupids Arrow LARPers of Messina (C.A.L.M.), John Donaldson.  After hours of fearsome battle, the army lead by Pedro Donaldson emerged as the victors in this historic battle.

In the aftermath of the clash, as the sun fell below the horizon casting its glow over the battlefield, one name echoed through amongst the troops: Benedict Wells.  As the tired combatants gathered to recount the day's events, it became clear that Benedict's leadership had been instrumental in securing victory for Pedro Donaldson's army.

Benedict's strategic awareness and unwavering resolve had inspired courage, rallied troops, and outmaneuvered the enemy at every turn.  Whether leading a cunning ambush from the shadows or orchestrating a daring charge against enemy lines, his presence on the battlefield was a symbol of hope for his comrades.

In the midst of the exuberant atmosphere that covered the battlefield, Beatrice, a keen spectator of the event, came forward to offer her perspective.  "Benedict's prowess on the battlefield was nothing short of extraordinary," she exclaimed with admiration.  "His leadership and skill breathed life into our army, turning the tide of battle in our favor.  Today, he proved himself not only as a warrior but as a true hero."

The battle of February 9th will truly be a spectacle to remember.  The heroic actions of Benedict will be recorded in C.A.L.M. history.  If you are at all interested in joining the ranks of the most fearsome army in the University Of Messina, reach out to me, Pedro Donaldson.

Haha yes! I appreciate the high praise Pedro! I simply could not do it without my fellow LARPers. Twas truly an epic battle. It's important moments like this when I can shine the brightest. I'm glad you noticed my strategy and skill, some of my favorite aspects of my game. They are often overshadowed by my brute strength and speed. While I am known by many as a ferocious warrior with the heart of a lion; Beatrice's praise is one I had not expected. She does not generally offer words of gratitude to the likes of me. If she is looking for a hero she should have opened her eyes sooner, I've been here. Not that I would be her…
