Mission
Cupid's Arrow Larpers of Messina strives to bring students from all walks of life together through live action role playing.
Cupid's Arrow Larpers of Messina (CALM) is an inclusive University of Messina club open to every student. We are a dedicated group of students who come together to LARP, live action role play. Everyone at CALM takes larping very seriously but we welcome anyone from any skill level. Our meetings are once a week on Fridays from 3-6pm in the Orchard. We spend the first hour socializing and figuring out what we are going to role play and spend the rest of the time role playing. We enjoy role playing many different time periods, battles, regions, countries, etc.
To get a picture of our typical meeting, our most recent meeting (2/9) we held a large scale role playing of a late 16th century Italian battle. We split into two teams headed by our president Pedro Donaldson and our vice president John Donaldson, who happen to be step-brothers. This battle got heated and tempers flared between the two as Pedro won. John didn't take the defeat well and will be looking to make up for it at the next meeting. We hope to see you there!
