Ciao! My name is Romeo Montague, and I am a third-year transfer student from the University of Verona. This is my first year at Messina University, and I could not be more optimistic about the future. I don’t do a whole ton in my free time, but I love the things I focus on. That mostly includes reading old-lit and writing whenever I feel the urge. If I could be anything after University, I would like to be a writer, but we will see where the wind takes me. I am affiliated with a few groups on campus, such as the Monta Gue Brotherhood and Fraternity and the Dead Poets Society. Sometimes, I find myself translating the classic Italian poets (Dante, Petrarca, Mari) into English at random times and throughout the night (translation is an art, you know). Some of my favorite books are The Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter, and The Song of Achilles.
